John has over 40 years of senior corporate management and consulting experience. He has led projects and advised boards and executive management in a variety of change environments; with a focus on measurable productivity improvement in large and complex businesses, as well as restructures, turnarounds and start up operations. His sector experience includes utilities, energy, communications and technology, financial services, leisure, sport and event management. He has worked widely in Europe, the Middle East, the USA and Asia as well as across Australasia.

The core element of John’s experience and method of operation has been the delivery of successful change outcomes, leaving complete and sustainable improvements, and businesses operating in a more effective and efficient state.

✦ Water Corporation – Initial executive relationship manager and continued that role through the successful implementation of productivity improvements, of which MOS was a key change implemented. This included the Regional Customer Services group and head office functions

✦ Wesfarmers – Within their Energy Division reviewed the MOS and process for major capital projects to ensure best utilisation of funds and key performance assessment maintained

✦ Adelaide Brighton – For their concrete manufacture and distribution division reviewed the processes and MOS. Reported on both strategic and operational improvements to drive the business to the required corporate hurdle rates.
