Clients and Projects

Following are examples of projects relating to process improvement:

✦ Sydney Water – Installed process improvement and management operating systems across multiple work groups in the Networks division. Developed and implemented cascading reporting to link back to the department head that dovetailed into the existing governance structure of the department. Root Cause Analysis systems were also introduced to assist in managing variance and drive continuous improvement

✦ Xstrata /Glencore – Implemented MOS across all Queensland and most NSW underground operations. Created and implemented management systems that resulted levels of cohesion not previously enjoyed by these mines. This involved extensive coaching of middle management on detailed and high level planning. Developed and implemented a root cause analysis (RCA) process that harnessed the expertise of trade’s staff resulting in a significant reduction in production delays and waste. Trained senior management, middle management, front line managers and trades staff in the use of RCA methods.

✦ Anglo American – Developed and implemented MOS in coal mining operations resulting in improvements in productivity and increased output. The success of the initial project resulted in the rollout of MOS across Anglo American’s other mines in Australia and South Africa.
